The DEF Film Seminar will take place on March 3–4, 2026, at the Gosposka Hall of ZM GIAM
ZRC SAZU in Ljubljana (Gosposka ulica 16). The event is organised by the Slovene
Ethnological Society and the Institute of Slovenian Ethnology ZRC SAZU, in cooperation with
the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology, Faculty of Arts, University of
Ljubljana.

The seminar presents a selection of eleven ethnographic films that explore human dwelling,
ways of life, and forms of embeddedness in the immediate environment through
environmental and social perspectives.
