On 6th and 7th March 2018 we will organize special edition of DEF, a small selection of ethnographic films made in broader region of Alps and Balkan mountains. Tittle of our event is Living in a Mountain World.

All selected films present everyday life and work of people from different mountainous environments in Europe. They are thematizing preserved modes of extensive farming, like transhumance, pasture and milk processing, as well as the relationships, practices and rituals that are important for these small and relatively isolated communities. The authors will accompany screenings.
