The international film festival Days of Ethnographic Film 2022 is thematically dedicated to visual anthropologist Lisbet Holtedahl, a professor emerita at the Norwegian University of Tromsø. Since the 1960s, she has researched women’s everyday lives and ever-changing societies in Cameroon, Niger and in Norway. She is an internationally recognised author of ethnographic and documentary films.

DEF 2022 is again organised by the Slovene Ethnological Society, the Institute of Slovenian Ethnology at the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts, and the Posavje Museum Brežice. A one-day event will feature film screenings and discussions with the author. DEF 2022 will take place on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at the Slovenian Cinematheque. We are happy to bring the festival back to a live audience after two editions!
